Result: The concept for the design of the site was inspired by the typical skyline of an international city, which when simplified produces a staggered composition. The result involved producing a complicated grid structure which challenged the conventional approach taken by the majority of corporate websites and their users (the client's target market). The end result allowed a large space for photographs to promote the client's projects and concurrently compliment the grid layout of the navigation and content areas. Result: The aim of the design was to produce a dynamic and inspiring website experience which would encourage users to return to find out about new and upcoming events, DJs and to get access to free gallery and music downloads. The dynamic energy was produced by introducing a full-screen background image of a female dancer and a vibrant colour palette, both of which complimented the current marketing of the brand. Result: The key to the success of the design of the website was to promote the photographers work whilst retaining the site's original "crop-mark" brand identity. Upon entering the site the user is introduced to a slideshow (controlled by the photographer's CMS). Once in the site, the thumbnails of each campaign appear across the centre of the screen - upon clicking on one of the thumbnails the image expands - shifting the thumbnails on either side along, so that the user can still access them easily. Associated campaign photos are displayed on either side of the main photograph with the information displayed below the photograph. The user also has the ability to view the site in fullscreen if desired. Result: The project involved working closely with other Adobe Consulting employees (Flex Developers and Information Architects) to experiment, challenge and learn about the existing system. As a result of our findings, we decided to re-develop the system to produce a better user experience for the Irish tax payer. The design had to consider all user journeys - from experienced web users to disabled visitors and Irish Gaelic users; whilst not sacrificing Adobe Consulting's best standards in design and pushing the boundaries in technology development. The end result was a huge improvement over the existing system and has been hailed as a leading example of online tax interfaces. Result: The initial task was to rebrand the company from their existing name of "Adrenalin Experts". Alchemy Events was chosen and an etheral identity was conceptualised to reflect how the company works closely with their clients and to represent the three employees of the company. Using the energetic flow of the logo-mark, a complimentary colour range was designed and integrated into the logo-mark to create a family of idents. Result: We designed and developed a working prototype for the client to use in presentations to venture capitalists. The concept involved allowing users to pick either live or past events from multiple locations for example Pacha in Ibiza and London's Ministry of Sound. Once a venue was selected, the user could watch the event from multiple view points. Concurrently the user could communicate with other users via live chat and other social networking features. The unfortunate reality for the project was that technology required to support such a website did not exist at the time and the project idea had to be scaled back to what could be achieved.
